I think the first time I tried to start riding with my kickstand down I'd been riding for just over 2 years. Went to lunch with a friend, go to start the bike, put in gear.... dies. Ok, maybe I let the clutch out too fast. Try it again. Dies.

Uh... kickstand. Got it.
