[visordown.com] - MV Agusta 'Turismo Veloce 800' just weeks away

The Turismo Veloce 800 could be a touring version of the Rivale, above

MV AGUSTA has just sent out invitations to the reveal of a new-for-2014 bike going under the name 'Turismo Veloce 800' – literally 'fast touring 800'.

So, what do we know about it? Not a huge deal to be frank. It will very likely use the firm’s 800cc three-cylinder engine, as already available in the F3, B3 and Rivale, and the name suggests something a little more comfortable and practical than any of those.

Our guess is it will be Rivale-based, taking that machine’s Ducati Multistrada-style stance and riding position and adding some wind protection and luggage into the mix. All will be revealed when the bike makes its debut on November 4, the eve of the EICMA show in Milan.

Still no news on the planned 'Brutale 800 Dragster' from MV, though. The firm has trademarked that name and a bike with that tag already features on the list of machines homologated for 2014 in America.
