It took me a little while to get it straight I keep blowing fuses �� If you can find the wiring diagram for the bike and use in in conjunction with the little half way useful directions for the tach you'll be good! I couldn't get mine to read RPM while plugged into the ignition wiring, but after some more messing with it, I found that if I connect the Speedo's tach wire to the pickup coil wire I get good results. I read somewhere that these cheap speedo's can't handle the full 12 volts from the ignition system to read RPM and need a lower voltage (like that from the pickup coil).
