Btw it was rapidly pouring out of the petcock on Res, without me cranking anything.
One or both of your float valves are not closing after the fuel reaches the proper level inside the bowls.

The diaphragm of the petcock is not working properly and allows gasoline to flow down regardless of feeling or not vacuum from the running engine,.............but that is the least of your problems, as you can close the petcock each time the engine is stopped.
