This is on a better path, but these radiator guards can be highly restrictive with regard to airflow. My issue with the OP's guard is twofold: First, the holes are too large and can still let rocks through, and second, there aren't enough holes which will cause turbulent airflow which would significantly reduce the heat transfer efficiency of the radiator. All of these guards will reduce airflow. The question is how much before it becomes a problem. I would put a stock guard on my bike before an aftermarket one.
