I'm thinking its got to be the alcohol in the gas chipping little pieces off the fuel hose that get sucked into the carbs. Anything in the tank would get stopped by the filter.

Is an entire rebuild necessary? Just soak em, and blow the gunk out of the passages and jets with compressed air. You shouldn't need to replace seals or floats or anything to do a full rebuild.


Mine still runs great!
