I don't pay for non-ethanol gasoline if the price is much higher than the regular 87, and I haven't had any trouble with any of my four motorcycles due to ethanol. I'd like it if no gasoline had alcohol in it, but I'm not going to pay a dollar a gallon extra.
If you're going to store the bike for several months, like in the winter, running a tank of non-ethanol gasoline through it is probably a good idea.
