Zeta makes an aluminum QT throttle that runs $30 shipped. It's officially for a variety of dualsport/enduro/dirtbike/sumo things like the KLX250, but it fits my stock throttle housing no prob. It's almost 5mm shorter than the stock tube though. I cut a bit off a cheap $10 plastic throttle tube to fill the space beneath the grip.
No track time with it until later this month. 20 degrees less rotation to WOT, by my measure. I've also heard something about R6 throttle tubes, but I'm not familiar with the details.

I may go with the Motion Pro in the end though. I checked with Justin Levy at Trackside Parts Club and he gave me a great price.
