dropped my bike in my driveway. slipped on ice. had to buy new lever, mirror, and fairing which alone cost 270. So I bought shogun frame sliders. The carbon fiber ones. Was not impressed with the quality of the carbon fiber for the extra cost on top of just black. Were easy to install.
