nyc ride thread
figured i would make a thread because i feel our area doesn't do enough group stuff, plus we could start organizing stuff here. unless there's already another thread, my search-fu is weak.
anywho, i plan on doing a bear mountain run again to practice my lines as my form at deals gap was lacking. mostly running up and down rt 6 to bear mountain bridge a few times, then up bear mountain and storm king. doing this either sat or sun depending on weather (looks like sat for now) in the am. back mid afternoon. figure the best meeting point is at the mobil station before the bear mountain bridge road starts at the circle. |

Tom...I'm not joking. If you google earth the cemeteries in Cypress hills area you will find roads that look like a plate of spaghetti. You really cant ride them fast but...y'know...a lot closer than BM. If you can get there when not too many funerals are going on it is a lot of fun.
It's the closest the City has to backroads but you have to go alone because they will notice a group and throw you out. |

If there are funerals going on it could be a LOT of fun.
Wrongity-wrong, but fun. I could be up for a BM thing Saturday. First day of a week's vacation and an opportunity to have some fun before getting dragged off to the in-laws.
