Radiator clogged with crap, literally.

Right, I live surrounded by farms and the roads are always strewn with horse and cow muck, and that mixes with mud and water to make a sloppy straw adobe like substance that just loves to clog my radiator in a thin strip where it flicks up from my tyres.

Does anybody else get the problem of a clogged rad? It's not so much of a worry given it's near freezing I don't think i'll overheat any time soon, but how on earth would I remove it? I've tried taking the jet sprayer at the car wash to it but didn't want to damage any fins so I was a bit gentle, I may try a steamer to loosen it. Anyway, it's gross and annoying and I need it gone, any suggestions?

I would try a normal hose to soak the crap out of it, and see if you can wash it out after it's soaked for a bit.
