blinker problems
ok so long story short when i bought the bike the blinkers and wiring for them were just garbage.
I'm no EE but i bought some new blinkers, wire, butt splices, molex connectors and went to work. Cleaned it all up and got it working fine. Been at least 6 months and a couple thousand miles and just noticed that when i turn the left turn signal on, left sides blink but right front blinks too, but dimmer. I look at the right rear and nothing. turn signal on right and front right blinks normal but nothing on right rear. i think the bulb vibrated out of the housing on the right rear, which explains it not working. but can this cause the front right to turn on when i signal left? i feel like i have a wire crossed but i'm pretty sure i dont. |

Did you buy LED blinkers?

i believe the front are led, rear are amber bulbs in clear cases. i know it's not the problem with resistors vs flasher relay, cuz i fixed that and they worked fine. really just wondering if the right rear being out would cause the right front to blink when the left turn signal is activated?

Well I think the answer to that questions is no. I'm wondering if the relay is bleeding over to the right side when the left is activated. There are some good electrical guys on here. I'm sure one of them will know whats going on. Good luck.

ya i guess that's pretty much the answer i gave myself. dont really understand why the right side would be activated when i activate the left. i guess the smart thing to do woul be replace the bulb that vibrated out and see if that fixes everything.

Like you, i have problems on my blinkers and i don´t know how to solve them. I crashed my bike and my left turn signal broke. I bought a different pair of turn signals, Led. And know, i have led blinkers at front and the originals at back. The problem is... they don´t blink... Any solution around here?
