need help removing sticker glue
I have the blue ninja with white decals and I want to put black decals on. I removed one decal so far and now I cant get the glue off. I've tried boiling hot water, tried wd40-its taken gum off my car a couple times, I've even tried a can of stuff that claims to remove road tar and bug stains. Oh and I also tried alcohol based hand sanitizer and nothing is working. Does anyone know what will work? PLEASE HELP ME, THANK YOU.

Works great. Works better. (careful using it on paints / clearcoats though)

Supplies: Clear cellophane tape and a hair drier.
Preparation: Take about 8" of 2" wide cellophane tape and make a loop with the sticky side out - big enough for two or three of your fingers to fit inside. Use the hair dryer to make the sticky residue warm-to-very-warm to the touch. Technique: Using perhaps 1/2" to 3/4" of the cellophane loop, roll the loop across the now warm residue. Theory: The idea is to use the cellophane tape to adhere to the residue and lift the residue off the bike. It takes a few "touches" and a bit of patience but that technique has removed sticker residue from painted plastic, glass, and painted automobile metal for me without damage of any kind. Tips: Don't overheat the residue, you could muck up plastics. And just "tap-n-go" with the loop. You'll get a feel for the technique rather quickly. |

too bad. Well, I have a chain cleaner that's rather agressive, it gets anything off of anything

carb cleaner will usually get it off. someone will respond top this by saying it will hurt your paint. Try it in a small spot and see. Ive used it a hundred times on factory paints on bikes and cars and haven't hurt any yet.

Why don't you just go get it at walmart, target or any auto parts store?
