Find Jackets by size?
Are there any gear sites, where you can narrow down your criteria by sizes? I currently have a small chest circumference, which really brings down my choices. So far, I've found exactly ZERO jackets that fit me.

They had what I wanted, but no jackets that actually would fit me.
Edit: Okay. The Icon ARC Jacket, according to the chart, is the perfect size. Either XSmall or Small So, 30"-31" sleeve I have a 33" chest Anyone willing to help me a jacket that isn't overpriced, that will fit? Scorpion Torque Jacket

do you have an existing jacket for reference; cuz for Pilot/Yoshimura (now defunct clothing brand), i can wear a small, for Alpinestar and Shift, I need to wear a medium cuz small is in fact too small. So each brand will have their own fitting.

You really should swing into a store and try some on. Once you find the style and size that fits, you can then order things online and usually get lucky w/ sizing.

and you don't really need to fit perfectly, this is not a racing suit. Cuz it sounds like you are aiming for the perfect fit for arm length and waist and chest.

Not super local but definitely worth the trip especially if this is your first purchase. I understand that its a bit out of your way but atleast this way you get to see different bikes, different accessories, and try on different helmets while you're at it. Some places if you tell them you're pretty far away, they'll bundle up the order, give you a discount and even ship it to you if necessary. Just talk to them... you can even call them up and see what they have before driving over there. We cant tell you what might fit because everybody is different. For example, I cannot fit Shift jackets. They're either too baggy or too short in the arms for me. Summary: Make the effort to look at them in person even if it is a drive.

Alright. I'll do that. Will some dealers have a wide variety of gear?

An example would be I fit a Large in Scorpion leather jackets but in RevIt i'm definitely an XL which fits even better. I would have never known if I didnt call them and asked with something as reference. Same with helmets. I fit a Med in EXO-400 and I called to confirm sizing on different brand helmets. In an HJC I was borderline a Small or a Med but I like it tight so a Small ends up being perfect. Retailers know what they're selling. Especially the known companies like revzilla, stg, motorcyclegear, and motorcycle-superstore. You just gotta have something as reference for them to work off of and you'll be able to get much closer than asking us on a forum because we dont know you nor do we have reference sizes. Goodluck. And have fun with it.

As a rule of thumb: European and Japanese 'smalls' are usually in the range of 36 to 38US for many companies, while many US companies consider smalls as 38 or 40. Having been said though, I must make a note about the Icon Arc textile jacket; its chest and arms are great, but the torso is cut very very short. Although I must also mention that I have a longer torso and shorter legs for my height.
Regardless, with a 36 ish chest, the Scorpion textile XS fits me well and allows for some layering. In my leather 1 piece, a Hein Gericke, it's a very tight fit in a 38 with a back protector a base layer and a thermal layer. Look for a sizing chart for the individual companies, and get a tape measure and measure the maximum chest circumference and purchase accordingly. If all you have is a ruler, get some rope (or a belt) and measure your chest with that, then measure the rope. The difference between a well fitting jacket and a poorly fitting jacket is huge. One other thing is to consider whether or not you will use the liner (if equipped) more often than not. Most jackets prove to be sized with all the liners included and can make a decently fitting jacket a swimming pool. |

Your options are RS taichi (What I use) Dainese ( I think the redline series is about our size) Rev it I have this jacket I could maybe sell. I think I wore it three times because I upgraded to their GMX motion jacket shortly after. It's Jap Medium so it should definitely fit. |

You might not have to bite the bullet...check out scorpion and icon!
I don't think I will be this size for long, because I'm still growing at a quick pace.
