Newly installed integrated front turn signals.
I just installed some integrated front turn signals on my 2007 250!
The adapter plates are made of clear 1/8" plexiglass, spray painted black on the backside. The turn signals were $12 off ebay from china. I had to drill 2 holes in my fairing to fit them. I hope they are bright enough! They are bulbs not LEDs. The plates were made by this very nice guy who goes by n4mwd here, who made this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hbh...ndex=7&list=WL He made them for just the cost of the plexiglass and even shipped them to me for free! Altogether, cost was $12 for the signals + $18 for the plexiglass + $8 for a drill bit and fasteners = $37! Last futzed with by archaeofreak; November 9th, 2014 at 04:59 AM. |

Nicely done sir, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing for mine.
I can personally recommend CREE LEDs for replacement of the regular bulbs. I used a pair of switch back CREE LEDs, they are bright white in running light, and change to amber when used for the turning indicators, automatically. SIDENOTE: I also replaced the amber reflectors on the front fairing with amber flush mount LEDs indicators.

Links to product used? What about any wiring changes you had to do to make the switchback work? |

I'm curious how/why you did your running lights like that, I just spliced into the taillight to get my running lights. Here are the CREE LEDs I used due to housing size. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...253234&alt=web

Are these just plug and play replacements for the bulbs?

Yes, assuming that your wiring is stock/OEM style
As I said I tied my running lights into the rear taillight.

You should LOL
SIDENOTE: all my bulbs are CREE LEDs, except the headlight, that's a HID conversion 55w/5K
