Smile area p exhaust

Hey guys,

I wanted to know how many of you have a area p exhaust? I wanted to know if you like the sound and your feed back. Is it worth the extra money to put on the area p exhaust? And did you see a noticable amout of pull after everything?

Thanks guys.

I don't have one, but I wish I did. It sounds the best of any imho, its a fair price for a full system, and it seems to be a quality system from everything I've read. I missed out on a gb a while back and honestly regret it. On top of that, Kerry is a member on ninjette, and seems to do his best with customer communication and generally seems to be a nice guy to do business with.

Honestly what's the last product that has this many customers all on the same forum, and you've never heard anything bad about it?

you guys are way behind. search "area p" on this forum and you will be reading rave reviews all day. bottom line, if you have the $$ for an area p system - get it. you won't regret the purchase.

I got one of their early-model 18" Carbon Fiber Quiet core full systems just over three years ago. I've never wished for another exhaust. Almost every bike meet/group ride I go to, someone compliments the sound or tone of the exhaust. I love it.

As Chris said, the owner, Kerry, is a member on ninjette. He's a wealth of knowledge and willing to go the extra mile, and then some, for his customers.

That said, it looks like the high-mount race systems they have been releasing have some minor clearance issues with some rearsets. Very fixable, but just something to be aware of. Also, there have been some *very* isolated events of parts failing on an AreaP, but that's typically due to user error (as it was in my case) or something epic happening to the bike. And inevitable, Kerry is in contact with the owner shortly after it's reported to get things straightened out.

I literally can not count the number of melt-spots on gear and burns on me that CF exhaust has saved me. Nothing quite like riding for 7 hours and grabbing a handful of my exhaust that it's just a bit warm, not actively searing the flesh off my hands.

I can't recommend Area P highly enough, regardless of the model.

I'm with Paul. If you look at the Area P website at the High Mount Race Exhaust my bike is THAT bike. It received production set number 1 after being the prototype while they fine tuned the product. Like Paul I cannot recommend Area P highly enough. It sounds great - my friends all love the sound; definitely not the lawnmower tone you get from stock and more throaty and strong than most aftermarket pipes. The power difference is noticeable and real, you can feel it once that sucker is on there.

Then there's Kerry himself - he's nothing short of an absolute pleasure to deal with. He will go out of his way to help you and answer any and all questions you have promptly and professionally. His wealth of knowledge solidified my confidence in his product, you just can't get better than his work. I will always go Area P when I can. Get the carbon fiber can!

ive heard a lot of different exhausts here where people go mod crazy, and imo i love it, and almost everyone that has heard my bike always tell how good mine sounds.

i have the 15" QC exhaust, flat end. so its louder than the 18" QC, but not as loud as a 12" loud core~ its a nice balance. although if i had to buy another exhaust i would probably go for the full 18" QC, since i am aware that the bike is still rather loud when i redline her.

its the tone / tang thats different. on the Yoshi / 2 bros and most other exhausts available here, there is a harsh, raspy underlying sound besides the rumbling roar. which is not that evident with the AreaP. with my exhaust i just get the sexy growl without the throaty raspy cough, lol...

never the less, its still loud when you WOT! :P
