Hey all. Q's about front end...

So I'm new to this forum. Just bought my '09 red 250 last wednesday. This thing is awesome! I have had a lot of motorcycles, they've all been bigger bikes. I tell ya, I've always felt like with the bigger displacement bikes you have to watch your line a lot more carefully because they're heavier and not as nimble. But this 250 is sweet! I can carry so much more corner speed it's retarded!
So my question is about the front end. Has anyone tried to convert over to upside down forks? Maybe a pair of rs125 forks would fit good?

There are pictures of a Ninja 250 with the RS125 front end conversion a swingarm/rear swap floating around this forum somewhere. Aside from that, swapping with Hayabusa or GSXR forks is relatively common, and not outrageously difficult. It can also be done with 636 forks too.

It seems though that the issue with all front end swaps aside from the RS125 is that there isn't enough room with the stock fairings.

EDIT: Sorry, not an RS125 Front/Rear, but an RS250:

FWIW I put the RaceTech Gold Valve Emulators in and fell in love with the bike again. It rides more like my Fiance's f4i now. Inexpensive and effective.
