Finally getting a bike
Well guys and girls it's been a while since I've been on here but I thought I'd drop everyone a line to say I am finally getting my first bike. It's not much but it's the right price and is in decent shape (nothing to write home about but it will be mine). It's a 1995 250 that I'm giving $500.00 for. It's got 14K miles on it and needs front brake pads and a carb cleaning but again...$500.00. Anyway, heres a pic...

Britton, That's a great bike--always liked the older ones. Brakes are a piece of cake, since one of our forum members posted a DIY. Enjoy--you made a great decision. Be Safe. Always remember that the Ninjette is the fastest and best 250 on the planet.

well guys and gals I regret to say that fell through. I went to pick up the bike tonight and then rode across the street to put gas in it and wouldn't ya know it, the tank started gushing gas....I still smell like the stuff even after taking a shower and washing my hands three times. I decided that it was more trouble than I wanted to get into and got my money back. Looks like i'm still bikeless but on the hunt.....

It was pouring from where the ferring (sp?) on the left side attaches to the bike. Apparently the tank had been replaced on the bike at the screw for the ferring was drilled through the new tank.
