Around Guernsey

Today I took myself off on a photo hunt around the island I live on, all the way around! It's not hard considering how small it is.

I took a bunch of photos on the way in the morning and heading home I saw a bunch of bikers in a car park, I had forgotten it was the annual Oakley Waterman spin, a charity ride around the island, so I did the same ride twice! Only with literally hundreds of bikers the second time!

It was a really fantastic day out, here are some photos for you guys to enjoy of sites and such on my route.

The bathing pools, a series of tidal bathing pools build by the nazi's during the occupation

My Ninja in a carpark at the beach

A less popular beach, I like it because it has character and nobody ever visits it.

A martello tower, built to defend britain in the nepoleonic war.

The skies are clearing nicely about mid-day.

The islands of Herm on the left and Sark on the right.

It's quite a big tower considering, looks a bit lost and small between the islands.
