Rear suspension preload adjustment

I had my bike taken to the shop to get frame sliders put on and for the dealership to fix something that they messed up with when lowering my bike.

Anyways, when I got it back it feels like the suspension is way bouncier than before. I weight ~90lbs what should the preload be set at? I'm assuming they adjusted it in the shop because it wasn't like this before I brought it to them. I'm a girl and really have no idea about this stuff haha.

Preload should likely be on the lowest setting for your weight. But - it would be good to understand what they did to lower your bike, and then to fix it as well. Was it too low, and rubbing when you went over bumps? Maybe they set the preload up a bit to make that a little less likely.

They fixed their own mistake, when they lowered the bike they guy had it lowered as far as it would go then rode it around the parking lot which rubbed a hole into the plastic above the tire... They ordered a new part and fixed that. They only lowered it 2 inches. I'm not sure why they thought it was a good idea to slam it all the way down and ride it but regardless they fixed it and put my frame sliders on at no cost.
