balaclava slips when putting on helmet??
A total stupid question...but I kinda want to know ...
everytime I slide my helmet (fit snugly) down onto my balaclava the thing kept slipping all the way down and cover my eyes, I usually have to pull the mask a bit higher than usual so when it slips down it's in correct position. BUT I cant do this unless I have a mirror or something. Any better way? |

Not a stupid question! This happens to me too and I compensate by setting the balaclava a little high so the helmet will bring it down to the right position.
Wish I had one without this problem though. Maybe I should wash it in hot water. edit:/ as for better ways uhmm I'd say just practice it until you naturally get the feel for how high you have to set it without a mirror. |

I have a snowboarding mask that I've been using, I used velcro to temporarily attatch it to the inside of the helmet since without that the helmet would just push it down as I put it on.

When I have one that goes over my head, I set the edge on my forehead and then kind of angle the helmet on, using it to pull it into place.
I was using a ski mask type thing that goes over your mouth and nose and covers your ears, then velcros behind you neck. Set it high over my ears and nose and the helmet would push it down into place. Now I'm using a NOJgear helmet skirt that I'm still sorting out the best way to wear it.
