First Oil Change Ninja 250r 2008
I have no idea how to do it. Do i really need to torque the bolts like the manual says or is hand tightening ok?
what items do I need to purchase? what type of oil, filters, do i need any washers or anything? |

Great deal on oil filters.
The manual tells you what you need, though most of us re-use their rubber O-ring a couple times, especially for the first oil change. As for torquing the bolts... a torque wrench costs $10 at Harbor Freight. $8 after coupon. Why not just get one? |

If you're ready to switch to synthetic, here's a complementary deal on Shell Rotella T6, which is highly regarded as the best synthetic oil to use ("complementary" because extra oil goes well with extra filters).
