Talking Vance and Hines CS One Slip On vs Yoshimura TRC vs Two Brothers

I'm looking to get a slip on for my bike.

Not looking for super loud but not too soft either.

I need good solid sound so it doesn't get annoying during long trips.

I have narrowed it down to 3.

Vance and Hines CS One - Yoshimura TRC - Two Brothers.

Doesn't seem like alot of people have the CS One but my hypothesis is that TB is the loudest, followed by V&H, and then Yoshi.

Am I correct? Anyone heard them in person? youtube videos can only do so much for you when it comes to sounds and mics and what not.

I have the 2 Brothers and it is loud. Very loud, however I think it sounds the best. @DevinWolfe has a Yoshi and it has a nice sound with manageable loudness. In all the Yoshi is probably the best for someone who wants a nice sound without the insane loudness.

Never heard a V&H CS One?

Is it unbearable?

You don't have to quote everything I say.

It really depends on what RPM it is at. Under 8k it isn't too bad. Anything over 8k for extended periods of time is quite annoying. Quick jaunts through the Dragon at 10k+ are different, though. With that type of riding I really want to hear the bike and pretend I am a racer, so it's cool. Interstate driving gets annoying, though.

OK Cool, This is why I am in this current dilemma.

So now I know TB's is out.

I just need to find someone who has been exposed to all three so they can rate the sound of the TB vs the V&H.

I love my Yoshi slip-on with the silencer, haven't tried running without it. My bike got a bit louder after pulling the airbox so I doubt I ever will. I love loud bikes but I like my neighbors too. Her TB sounds pretty awesome as well, she also has the air box removed.

Interstate travel with the Yoshi isn't bad at all and I usually ride about 80..

Thanks for the info. After watching some more videos on youtube and reading your post I think I will go with a Yoshi.

I love the black carbon but i don't want to pay so much.

A stainless is about $300.

I was thinking about painting it black.

What do you think?

I have stainless and the outside of the pipe doesn't get very hot. It's quite warm but you can leave your bare hand resting on the can so paint should hold up just fine, assuming it is rated for heat.
