GROUP BUY 08+ LED Integrated Tail Light

Hello, as many of you know, I have been planning a group buy for about 2 weeks now. The good news is these tail lights are in are ready to ship.

I have been selling over the internet since 2006, using mainly eBay as primary method for transacting. Once a PowerSeller (Bronze), I have over 350+ Positive feedback from both my eBay accounts: mycology_canada & blackshot007

That said.. Those of you who wish to have them set-up with OEM connectors for a 100% NO WIRE CUTTING Plug & Play, there will be an extra wait period of approximately 5-7 business days, so the connectors can arrive from Japan.

Price will be 110$ USD shipped to your door via standard post. When I recieve a payment via PayPal, they charge me 3%, this 3% will be added to your invoice if you choose to pay via this method. If you want the OEM connectors, this will be extra. 110$ this includes 10$ related to shipping costs, if you live in a remote area, it might cost you a few extra dollars to have it shipped to your location. Shipment departs from Montreal Canada. Local pick up is available if you're from Montreal, you save 10$ but it's still in USD. (or 105$ CAD)

These lights are available in transparent lens only. Unfortunatly a smoked version is not available. I can smoke them for a nominal fee using VHT NiteShade.

Here is layout of the fees. You tell me what you wan't and I will invoice you..

-This is the original taillight, not some cheap knock off.
-DOT/E1/E11/SAE approved, stamped and provided with a copy of the Certificate of Approval (provided by the Mfg.)

110$ - LED Integrated Tail Light incl. Electronic Flasher Relay (High quality, silent, epoxy sealed, and 100% plug & play) Shipped to you're door.

Optional:

9$ - OEM connectors for a no cut plug and play system.
4$ - Extra if you wish to keep your stock turn signals without cutting anything. (Basicly this will add the option of plugging your stock turn signals onto this new light, without cutting of splicing anything, keeping the wiring STOCK)

6$ - To have your lens tinted with NiteShade
3$ - For a second coat

To these fees, will be added a 3% PayPal Fee, if you decide to use this method, Money Order and cash on pick-up will also be accepted.

Post here.

I will update this threard as confirmations are recieved. I have 6 of these sets, so they might be going fast. If this goes well, I will setup a second group buy, which things will go much faster then the first one.

Post or PM me with you're adress so I can get an exact quote for shipping, if you live in a remote area. These will be shipped out insured via standard ground Canada Post, unless you wish to pay for an aditional services, such as Tracking, Signature. Item should arrive within 5-7 business days from shipping date.

2. Ninjito *Paid

Buyers that might be interested but remain unconfirmed. If you're name figures on this list, you will have priority over newcommers.

Well, I wouldn't be too concerned about adding this taillight to the bike, especially since you already have an illegal exhaust system. This taillight comes with an Approval certificate and should be suficent to prove legality.

BTW, did you verify the legality of your exhaust in your area?

Yoshimura Manual says:

"THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR USE IN CLOSED COURSE
RACING AND IS NOT INTENDED FOR HIGHWAY USE."

I am provding you with a copy of the cirtificate with:

Approval Number
Test Report Number

Testing and Certification Body to Specific Product and System Standards
ECE Regulation 50

E1/E11/DOT/SAE

Stamped with E4 following the certification # on the lens.

Sweet, count me in. Here is what I'd like.

+$110.00 - Integrated tail light with the flasher (flasher is also plug and play I assume?)
+$9.00 - OEM Connectors
+$4.00 - Option to install stock turn signals as well. Do you have to have the stock lights plugged in to work or does the integrated tail light work on it's own? This would probably be worth the $4.00 encase any law enforcement voice concerns and want the signals back on.
+$3.69 - 3% PayPal fee

= $126.69 Shipped to my door in the USA.....does this sound correct sir?

Hey Broc, thank you for your interest. Yup, flashers are plug and play with the 9$ option, which adds OEM connectors to the light. You don't have to have the stock signals plugged in for this to work, it will work on it's own with the included relay.

I'm keeping my stock turn signals along with this, for increased visibility, you can also change your stock signals to LED signals.

126.69$ would be the correct amount. And includes standard shipping (no tracking, but insured)

I'm going to pick up my girlfriend tonight, she will pass me her camera and I will try and take a few pics.

Awesome. I did however see your post about the Spy 5000m Alarm. I sell alot of turbo related parts and ship to Canada all the time. I also have a wholesale motorcycle store very close. I'm actually on my way to that area now and will check. If they have it priced resonably then you got a deal for a tail light!

I'll message you later letting you know and also my paypal addy. 50/50 shot but I know the store does carry SPY remote starts/alarms.

Here are some pics I just uploaded. Uploading Videos...

UPDATE:

- VHT NiteShade tint is no longer available. I have had bad results when trying to tint mine.
- The relay that comes with this kit should NOT be used in combination with stock signals, as it is rated for 10W, it should only be used with all-LED turn signals.
if you need a 20A turn signal relay, I will provide you with one for 3$ (I burnt out my relay taking these photos..)

I will use Australia as a guide. I would say it is legal if you keep the OEM blinkers in place. It states for Australia that the blinkers have to be X amount apart from each other.

If you where to remove the blinkers and rely souly on the intergrated thing it would be deemed illegal in Australia. I would assume there would be an equal design rule for most countries.

+1 I believe here in Quebec, they have to be 30 CM apart in the rear and maybe 20 CM in front.

The wires got loose in the last video, it was just pointed out to me. I have corrected the video.

What are you worrying about, fellow Canadian? I am in Montreal, Quebec! I sold one of these to a fellow Montrealer!

And especially that my setup insures that you can connect your stock taillights with this. Isn;t that what you wanted?

Shipping from my place to yours is like 1-2 days.. only 2 taillights left!

Well I literally installed it in 5 minutes, but then again I had the rear off. If you have a 10mm socket or key wrench and the 5mm hex key that comes in your tool kit.
As a noob, if you follow the instructions, it shouldn't take you much more than 30-40 mins. I might make a video of the install for you guys.

Price would be the same, it's about the same to ship it to US then to ship it to Canada

fatbikez wants 142 + tax + shipping to Canada.

take a look:

WoohOO!!! Does that count me? Whats this mod accomplish? I know diodes only let current in one direction?

Edit:
Oooo I found it. Hmmm.......ok so I only need the diode if I switched all my turn signals to LED. If I use just the integrated taillight in the rear, stock fronts, & a 20A relay I shouldn't need the diode? Correct?

BUMP FOR JOHN - Only true plug-n-play tail light out there! He's even got all your LED options covered! Good price too

team black.

I'm really interested in seeing these in person as I am still skeptical of the amt of illumination given off by these while riding. the test videos provided (and a number of which are found on-line) really aren't a great representation to the actual light output. I'm not a huge fan of our stock signals but they do function as they should and as cool as these look, the main concern is my visibility to others while riding. I wouldn't sacrifice that for anything.

I've got one on my '08 blue and have ridden with others that have stock tail lights. One of their family members following in a cage commented my tail light was considerably brighter than the stock in the daylight. I can't look at it straight on with the brake light on for more than a few moments due to brightness (my eyes are fairly sensitive though).

FWIW, I'm still using my stock turn signals in addition to the BM integrated.
Also, here's a link to the ride report from the group ride I mentioned above. I'm usually the rider in the back with the silver pants and BM light. The other two (noche caliente and NJD022588 have stock taillights.

Honestly, stock signals have the best output. These LED turn signals, especially tinted like the ones I installed, have pretty damn poor output, for now. I ordered 50, 25 000 mcd to replace the 18 leds in each of the rear turn signals. Right now im guessing the output of each led is 6-8k mcd. which is pretty poor... the videos I posted earlier are really the best representation of what the light really outputs. I actually remade the vid a few times to get it looking as bright as it actually is. I am really satisfied with the BM taillights. One minor improvement would be to have slightly better amber LEDs.

I remember riding with noche and some days the only way I knew she was breaking was because she's got a red LED license plate bar hooked up to the brake light circuit. Just couldn't tell the stock brake light came on in full sun.

One (of many) things I like about the BM is the red LED line that comes on in the middle of the light when braking, in addition to the running light reds getting much brighter.

Maybe i should just suck it up and try to pull an extra shift or two at work and get this. I already took the whole tail apart last week to prepare for a fender chop and the stock light is just dangling there. Jon what would be the total amount shipped in New Brunswick?

the link u provided was perfect.. it's exactly what I was looking for. although I did notice in the one image (group image with everyone approaching a stop and turning), the photographer managed to snap a pic while you were signaling - are your tailights signal integrated? it's tough to tell but it looks as though they were, and if so how have others commented on the way they illuminate (while braking and without)?

btw great looking bike!

Indeed they are integrated. I joined the bike monkey turn signal wires and the stock wires to have both display when I'm turning. I haven't had anyone comment on that particular aspect, but I don't really ride with other folks very often (Noche_caliente and NJD022588 are pretty much it thusfar for local rider friends) so lack of comments isn't surprising. My one gripe with the BM light is that I wish the amber turn lights had a higher contrast vs the reds, but it's still plenty.

One side note though, I used to have a brake light modulator (to flash the light when braking). It worked with the BM integrated light, but was just too many flashing lights for my taste; made me think of a circus.
