Good Economic Plan?

This actually makes sense to me. Am I missing some obvious reason why it might be a bad plan?

Seems to me it would shut down the entire financial sector. If a small blip in that sector can cause such chaos already, turning trillions of dollars off on top of that seems like a terrifically poor idea to me. It's like the south park episode on the economy (which tongue-in-cheek suggested something along the lines of this).

Unfortunately it would probably do more harm to the economy then it would help it. The problem is that the world system as it's set up now relies on interest from their investments, and real estate is THE TOP interest producing commodity there is. If you turn off the interest on the largest financial money maker you'll kill the banks who are responsibly for paying most of the world's paychecks. Sure, it would help the common person and allow them to get caught up in alot of things, but the aftermath........ Ever hear the saying that s**t rolls downhill?

i wish i could find the link but i saw this site the other week that suggested that america should sell Florida since its really the only state that is attractive to buy and that we can spare. the whole thing was a bit of a tongue in cheek but the presentation was well done and even made me as a Floridian laugh
