Do I need to rejet for higher elevation this summer?

I'll be spending this summer in Estes Park, CO, which is about 8,000ft, instead of the 400ft I normally live at. Do I need to rejet or adjust the needles to account for the thinner air?

I do believe the owner's manual has something to say about resetting the jetting for high altitudes. I believe it was for anything higher than 5000ft(?), so yes, you would need to go down a size or 2 on the main jets for 8K.

yes, you'll have to rejet...and your bike will be slower =(. That's the one thing I liked about haveing a turbo car. In high altitudes, I could just crank up the boost to make up for the loss of atmospheric pressure.

Any idea what specific jets I need? Would this be pretty much the same process as installing a DynoJet kit, albeit different sized jets?
