Bike Stand Help!
I ride an 09' Ninja and would like to get a bike stand, for obvious reasons, but I have some questions...
-Is there a front bike stand and a rear bike stand? -Is there a specific bike stand I need or do bike stands fit all bikes? -Do I need to do anything special (like adding spools) to use a bike stand? -Has anyone had any bad experiences (like slipping out, etc.) using a bike stand? I hate to sound like such a noob but thanks for the help! Any other good information about bike stands that I need to know would be very appreciated! |

A bunch of threads here that may have the info you're looking for; a search on "pitbull" should do the trick. Here's probably the best one that kkim started awhile back ---> Linky. Here's another more recent one ---> Linky

If the pitbulls are a bit pricy for you, as they are for me, I got a set of front and rear ones off ebay for a little over 100 and they work good.

just picked up a rear swing-arm stand (no spools needed) with adapters to covert to front stand for $40 from Harbor Freight.

I just got some T-Rex stands off of E-Bay and I like them a lot. Really solid and really easy to get the bike on and off by myself
cost was ~$135.00 all together for both the front and rear stands with the spools needed for your bike(as long as you tell them what bike you have) |
