Just got my 2nd 250. Should I check anything out?

I just picked up a 2008 250r with 1500 miles on it for $2500. It had been sitting for awhile about 1.5 years. Before it sat he had a oil change and the 600 mile tune up done. Is there anything I should check out or do right away as far as maintance? It runs fine no problems there. Just being cautious. Seafoam?

Lube the chain, put the battery on a tender, and check tire pressure are the things that come to mind immediately

Four year old tires should be changed.

Clean those carbs, no matter how well he stored it was , them carbs are filthy, I would dump that fuel as well, get some stabil or seafoam dump it in there(the correct and indicated amount of it of course) and refill it with new gas. Also, I hope you checked for rust in the tank before you bought it, as for that oil, I would go ahead and change it anyways along with the filter, it has been sitting there and oil change kit is cheap.

Not something that you need to do immediately.

Coolant and brake fluid should be replaced every two years, because they loose properties even if not working.

Coolant decays and brake fluid absorbs humidity from the air, both can start internal rusting of their system's parts.
