Brake bleeding bliss

Boom. http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-deta...L?skuId=715154 Boom. I'm big on maintenance. Change my oil Every 3 track days (should probably change even more frequently). Lube my chain every track. Change my fork oil 2-3 times a year. And ofcourse bleed my brakes everytime I change my oil. It's like meditation. Calms my nerves. Makes me feel good. Makes me feel ready for next track... UNTIL THAT BRAKE FLUID SPILLS EVERYWHERE ON THE BIKE, ON THE FLOORS AND ON ME. Then it's not so meditating. This led me to go on a search for a better setup. And Above links saved a whole lot of time / profanity / and sanity. I recommend it to everyone... PS: I guess I should mention. I bleed my brakes the old school way. Don't use any fancy pumps or anything. Never had a problem. I get rid of all air bubbles in 10-15 minutes. Good enough for me. |

i use hose and water bottles so in comparison this is expensive

I have the same bottle that the link to Amazon showed. Autoparts stores carry them. Works to bleed a full sytem but not to service it. I did some caliper repair (not a Ninja) so the brake line was empty. To reservice the brake fluid, I could not get fluid flow and pressure using the bottle and pumping the brake handle. The syringe likely would have worked but I bought a Vacume pump from Harbor Freight. Minutes later my system was bleed and filled. About $22. Should last a long time and has good hoses/connectors of different sizes.
