Jacket
Hi Guys,
I live L.A. and it does get hot. So I don't bother wearing a jacket, I think I'm going to fry in one of them. Are there any jackets that keep you cool? |

Before this turns into everyone chastising you for not wearing ATGATT, let me
direct you to some other threads about keeping cool. |

I live in Texas where it gets very hot. I always ride with a jacket. A good mesh jacket with decent airflow will keep you from cooking, as long as you're moving. I also have a hydro vest which I will wear under my mesh jacket if I know I will be in slow or stop and go type traffic. There are mixed reviews on these, but I like mine. It does keep me cool. The only downside is that it makes your shirt wet.

I have a Fieldsheer Hi-Flow II jacket. Easily found for $75.
It has good armor in the shoulders and elbows, but the back pad is a joke (most are). Feels like wearing a light cotton shirt. Very cool. It also comes in neon yellow if you're more interested in being seen than looking bada$$. |

Andrew, when did you move? I noticed you're now in "Level 5 Detention!"
