My first motorcycle!

Hey guys. Here is a really bad picture of my 'new' 2010 250r. So excited. Road it three times around the block. Starting slow. What fun.

I must say thank you to all of your excellent info on this forum. It made the process so much easier. I haven't contributed much, but I have found that I learn more by listening!

Awesome, you're lucky! I've never seen a 2010 in blue since I've been searching for a bike. I love the color of the 2010 blue!

I'm jealous, I WILL have my first bike this week. I just wish it could be this color

Wow Tom. I shouldn't probably tell you this, but I didn't even know the 2010 blue was a different blue. What do they call it?

Congrats on your new bike, though! What color did you end up getting?

Sweet bike man! Blue is tied with green for my 2nd fave color on the 250, but the 08 red has it for me :P Start slow, take msf if you havent (as I'm sure you know) and most of all BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN, woops I sound like a mom. Honestly this is the only forum I come to for beginner specific needs, and heck the lovely people here have even helped me figuring out problems with my own bike which isn't even a 250 :P

I can't remember the name of it offhand. '08 was Candy Plasma, '09 Candy Thunder, '11 came in a dark imperial blue in Canada. 2010 was the lightest I believe, closest to it was 08.

I finally get home later today and will promptly be forking over cash for one of two bikes. A CPB '08 or a White '11 SE.

Thanks! I took the MSF course about three years ago. Took me this long to get off my posterior and buy one! Yeah. I love this forum.

No worries on the color name. I'm sure some other enterprising poster will come up with the name. More importantly, let us know what bike you get!

Found it elsewhere on the forum, Tom. The name of 2010 blue is 'Metallic Island Blue'

I bought my Ninjette after I had started but before I had finished my motorcycle course. I can't wait until my ride tomorrow, let alone wait 3 years!

I believe in extreme delayed gratification.

Not to be confused with extreme delayed gentrification, which I can't stand. Unless it's happening in my neighborhood, in which case I'm ask for it again. Ha.
