Aprilia for a touring bike?
This bike seems like a perfect candidate for a touring bike and the price is fair.
My only concern in maintenance and working on the turd. http://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/mcy/4680719553.html

Not bad bikes, but the dealer/parts network is practically non-existent around here, and don't expect any help from the factory or dealer.
My friend has an RSV4 Factory he bought new ($$$), and had a few issues with the bike, and all he got was the runaround from everyone involved. These guys helped him out, though. http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scrip...IiAaAm_J8P8HAQ

Never rode any of their smaller stuff, but I had two different RSVs with the 1000cc twin. REALLY miss them.

You better make sure you have a good dealer nearby. Wrenching on one of these isn't like wrenching a Japanese bike.
Maintenance concerns aside, it looks pretty nice.

Generally, I avoid little known products. Not that the small companies are bad, but there's just more of a guarantee in bigger companies. Get a KLR!

I will have to check out the spots you mentioned. It sucks having this lame as hell retail job. I have not worked a job that I had a schedule at in years. I am used to making my own hours and getting overtime. Now I get 39 hours and it has to be 5 days a week.

Lowes. for a couple months now. I am considering going back to contracting for myself or even the company I used to work for . I made 40% more but I lived near NYC so rent was too damn high. Salaried also meant I worked a lot of over time with no benefit. But I took 3 day weekends whenever I wanted.
oh well You don't know how good you had it until you let it go. Sorta like my 1985 Xr 250. That bike was loaded with power for a bullet proof air cooled 80s endure. I went to the Rm 250s for a while. Then CR480. They were needy and touchy. Nothing like the good old trail beater XR
