Among the juicy bits, Cardion revealed the GP12 boasts 250 horsepower, up from 235 last season. The new bike also features a top speed of 224 mph, up from 211. Ducati also allegedly trimmed a tenth of a second from the bike's 0-to-60 mph acceleration, which the GP12 reaches in 2.6 seconds.
The GP12 also gained weight, growing from 330 to 341 pounds as MotoGP moves from 800cc to 1000cc engines this season. Ducati's Desmosedici engine churns out 999cc for the GP12, according to the Cardion release  kinda like ninjettes, huh? |
