Installing New valve stem

Has anyone tried to push in a valve stem without removing the tire? Any success?

Never heard of such thing.

Job will require:
breaking both beads;
removing one side of tire from rim;
cutting off old stem;
pulling through new stem;
re-installing the other half of the tire on the rim;
re-seating both beads;
properly inflating tires.

Mark the tire before you start and align it the same way when you re-seat the beads so you won't have to rebalance the wheel.

Saw this but I think I'll just take it to the shop. I hate dealing with tires.

All you got to do is break one side of the tire bead.
