Tire, and a Birthday Dinner.

Yesterday was my wife's birthday. She is lucky to share the day with the all important IRS deadline.

I left work early so I could spend the afternoon with my wife. As I was on the freeway, the SUV infront of me blew a tire. It pulled off to the side; and after seeing that it was a complete blowout in my mirror, I stopped and walked back to the SUV to offer assistance.

Turns out it was two girls in there 20's (my take on the situation is that they are lesbians, not sure, but I'm about 90% sure). The poor girls didn't even know that their vehicle had a spare. I checked and the spare was fine, a little low on air, but enough to get them home. I pulled out the jack lowered the spare and went to work changing the tire.

The entire time the girls kept saying that they were so thankful and that I must be an angel, because most people would not have stopped. As I was working I told them that I had left work early and I was going home because it was my wife's birthday. Turns out the two girls work at a recently opened Olive Garden and they told me to take my wife there that evening for her birthday on them.

As I was finishing up taking the car off the jack a Highway Patrol Officer pulled up. I told the officer that they were ready to go and he helped them get back on the freeway and to an offramp. I jumped on my bike and went home. In the evening my wife and I went out and enjoyed a great dinner.

...Whenever I am alone and do not have a tight schedule I stop to help those less fortunate people on the side of the road. I know I would want someone to stop if it was my wife in trouble, so I make sure that I don't pass anyone up. This is the first time someone ever thanked me by buying me dinner .

If you don't do this type of thing already I highly recommed that you do kind service for others whenever you get the chance.

Good on you for stopping! It's a tough thing to do, especially these days with all of the insane people out there who either want to kill you or sue you for sexual harrassment. It's nice to hear that people still do this.

*turns off sincerity unit*

Ok...so now where's the pics of the two 20 year old lesbians?

First of all belated Happy Birthday to your wife.
I am glad you stopped to help out those girls. I stop and help people as well because I am a firm believer in Karma (what goes around comes around). The payback does not always come around as quickly as in your case but it eventualy does. In the mean time I am happy with the gratification it gives me.

Did they try to pick up your wife at dinner?

If not, they are still fair game!

They were extremely nice and talkative to my wife.

My wife agrees with me on the lesbian possibility.

LOL asking for pics when lesbian sightings are involved is standard procedure.

I reference article 7, section 2, line 5, corollary A-3 in the Man-Code...and I quote...."Thou shalt post **** or GTFO"

Seriously, though, what was their position at the Olive Garden? Were they in the kitchen or waitresses? That's actually a hell of a coincidence that you'd manage to bump into AND rescue two restaurant employees on your way home to celebrate your wife's bday. I hope they hooked you up good!
