New Ninjetter
Hi all,
I purchased a yellow 2006 Ninjette last spring for my winters in Sarasota. Back in good old Illinois I have a 2004 Suzuki SV650 track day bike and a 2001 Yamaha FZ1 daily rider. The Ninjette is the opposite of the FZ1, which I love, and very different from my track bike, which gets pounded unmercifully. But the little Kawi is just a blast to ride. I just have to remember to keep the revs up. Being a little short in the leg department, my girl friend was pleased that this is the first bike I've owned that allows me to put both feet flat on the ground! I went looking for a forum and found this great site. Glad to be part of the community. Keep the shiny side up. |

Hi Bruce... Welcome to the board!
I know the feeling about riding a pregen 250. I have several motorcycles, but when I got the Ninjette I was amazed at what a nice overall motorcycle it is. |

hi Bruce and welcome to Ninjette!!!
these little bikes are so nimble and so much fun! I had been tracking my VF500 and CBR600RR for decades. But they were a little too... scary... or rough... not sure exact words. I just wasn't comfortable with idea of getting into racing with them. It was the Ninjette with its light weight and maneuverability that let me take plunge into racing! So much fun!!
