New Yoshi Peg Replacements are SEXXXY!
Oh my god! I saw these and thought "Die all you ebay wannabe's!" Yeah they run a little expensive.. $110 from Yoshimura themselves, but with their rearset adjusters, the yoshi people could have a hit for those of us that don't want full rearsets. Check out this link!

So with the pegs and their adjuster your at $200+ which you can almost get a set of rear sets for. But they do look nice.

I haven't seen any that look like this for half the price... Someone tell me where. I have also decided to make mine a Yoshi Edition 250R, as they are coming out with more parts for it and I won't trust my safety, or monetary investment to some rinkydink machine shop, when I know Yoshimura has been tinkering on bikes for over half a century successfully. So yeah, the name does come with a price, but for those willing to pay it, they get exactly what they pay for, not the imitation of it.

You can get these from fatbikez.com for $46 from Yana Shiki: Or maybe these from solomotoparts.com for $28 from Gilles Tooling: Or how about these from solomotoparts.com for $51 from Competition Werkes: In the end... you are right, you pay for the name... and if thats important to you than by all means go for it. If it were me and I wanted to swap out my pegs that bad, I would go for some rearsets myself... we are all different though and thats what makes forum communities so great. If we were all the same this would be a very boring place

I looked at those Gilles ones. Those were my next best choice! If I thought that in my lifetime I would take it to a track, I would go with the Vortex rearsets, but some agressive pegs will do. I beleive it now when they say people are now interested in price more than a good proven quality product.
The Intuitive frame sliders are a great example. How much research went into them before marketing? Probably not a whole lot, because if they did, they would know their product wasn't worth crap as it tears up more than it protects in a crash. I think most of us know to buy the Shoguns. On that note, Yoshi is coming out with a Frame Slider Set and I want them already!! |
