----------------- Casey Stoner has picked up where he left off at Catalunya, dominating the first session of free practice at a surprisingly sunny and dry Silverstone. The Repsol Honda rider led Marco Simoncelli by nearly two thirds of a second, while last year's winner Jorge Lorenzo ended the session in 3rd, a whole second behind Stoner.
