Nice looking cafe racer

Saw this while looking at tutorials on youtube. The kit is off the blue collar bobbers website but I am sure you can get the parts from anywhere. I usually don't like the Ninja's cafe look because of it's frame but this has changed my mind a bit.

The kit costs a **** load. For the money I'd rather just pick up a naked bike.

The $1400 for the kit is a bit of money, but it has a lot of stuff and doesn't seem outrageous for what it is if you want that look and style.

What makes it potentially outrageous is the fact that you need the bike already before you get the kit. I admit if that's what you really want then by all means you should go for it but I personally do not believe it to be the best deal if you're going for that kind of style. For a classic cafe I'd pick up a triumph or a norton. For a cafe like look with modern performance and reliability I'd get a naked.

Yeah I'd spend the money on performance parts before I would even think about doing something like this but it's not a bad looking bike.

Or just cafe your 250 yourself like I did.

This is the second one I've done, I learned a lot the first time.
The white rims and the 120/80-16 front tire complete it nicely.

That thing is beautiful and I am inspired/motivated to get mine to look like that.
Where did you put everything? Particularly the battery.

Actually, $1,500 seems like a good deal if you look at the parts list and the quality of the pieces. Ryca charges close to $3,000 for their 650 Savage cafe kit, in comparison.

Thank you, I posted a build thread here- http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?p=827487

I ran new battery cables, cut off the stock cross member and mounted a flat steel plate to the rear subframe for the battery support.
