Rode my friend's Vino 125

Rode my friend's Vino 125 today and oh dear god is that thing gutless. Pinned throttle and all it goes is putt putt putt putt and then 10seconds later I look down and see, oh sweet 35mph!. On the bright side, wow is it flickable and damn is it quiet. No earplugs and it still sounded quieter than my lawn mower.

Backstory. I have my friend's Vino because she went to med school and needed someone to keep it and so I have it stored in the corner of my garage until today I decided to take it out for a spin..

Edit: Added photo for reference.

You sure that's not the 50cc? My 108cc Honda Elite spins up to 53mph before the EFI controller says enough; haven't tried to do acceleration tests on it but it's quicker than 0-35 in 10s

Yeah, 35mph sounds like 50cc scoot speeds.

either that's a 50cc or the trans is stuck. 125 scooters will get to 55 or 60 fairly quick

Haha... fine fine... it was an exaggeration. It wasnt nearly 10seconds and yes its a 125cc cuz I did get it up to 55mph. It didnt feel like it though.

Everybody here is so particular about the details.
