Another harley swap question
Wondering if I can put these foot pegs on my bike. They are the rear pegs from the Harley and I want to put them on the front of my bike. I think it will work but they won't be spring loaded. Is there a reason why they're spring loaded? for leaning I'm guessing? They only have one piece on the inside where the Kawasaki ones have two for the spring to go between them.

If / when they dig into the ground it's not gonna be fun, but you can do anything you put your mind, or your money too... I'm sure someone could spring load them for you.
Yes they are spring loaded so they are less likely to dig into re pavement and turn your bike into a carnival ride / ejector bike; but I have seen folks scrap the crap out of pegs and be fine, but I've also seen folks get tossed

This thread made me wonder if you can put a Harley engine in a 250 frame? I realize it wouldn't go any faster but I like the sound better.

I don't think the frame is stout enough... Might be though but I'd like to see a thumpin 250 in a hells angel parade

The passenger pegs from a harley should fold up, but they are not spring loaded to come back down if the do touch pavement.
Not sure why you would want to replace them. |
