I am itching to ride so bad! This is probably the first week since December that is hasn't snowed or been 32 degrees and under.

Unfortunately I don't see any riding in the near future. The roads are so full of sand, dirt, and massive pot holes left from the plows.

What's stopping you? I took mine for a ride today, and I'm planning to go out tomorrow too. There's still 2 feet of snow in my backyard but it's been in the 40's for the last couple of days and it's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow.

It got all the way up to 65 here on monday(Windy as hell though) , yesterday and today were around 55 or so, none of my friends have dewinterized their bikes yet so no riding for me , that is, until I find a decent one for sale .

That video is hilarious! I will be on 2 wheels tomorrow and Friday. We still have salt on the roads. So I will be taking it easy.

i have to brag here for a second. here in AZ it has been in the 70s the last few days. unfortunately i need to take my recently purchased used bike in for a routine (hopefully) maintenance and haven't been able to ride it...so i guess the joke is on me.

Planning on riding my bike for the first time in awhile tom. I work 1-10 should be beautiful at 1 but like 40 degrees at night. never rode in temp like that. thinking under armor, a hoodie and a jacket would keep me warm enough?

I'm only good for about +3C/ 36F or so in the clothing dept. and they use a ton of salt on the roads up here. However it's supposed to get real warm tomorrow +10-12 C and it's so tempting.
The only thing holding me back is the salt and the drivers who are already blind on a good day, throw in winter and i'm probably really asking for trouble.....still.. ok maybe just a little vroom vroom around the neighborhood...

This time of year is such a tease. last weekend it was in the upper 50's f. and I was able to get a couple rides in. This morning there is four inches of new snow.

Thanks for posting that video, Spring is just around the corner!

For sure, hopefully I get more time during the weekends. My mileage mainly comes from my commute across the city. PM me if you want to get out for a ride when the weather is more accomodating. If you hang out at all on GTAM you can PM me there as well.

Rather than creating a new thread thought I'd just post in this one.

After 2 days of rain and + temperatures, most of the snow is gone. Threw my new battery in (my charger died and drained my old battery over the winter. grrr....), and the Ninja started up on the 4th/5th try. Gonna change the oil tomorrow and hopefully ride it to work next week if the weather co-operates!

Very excited!
