looking for a rally in Knoxville tn.

Does anyone know if we could put together a rally in Knoxville Tn? We have great mountains roads like the Dragon with 100+ curves and some roads that take you to city called townsend with a great view of the mountains, or if somebody eles can up where to ride. I'm just looking to meet up with some friends and ride and maybe a good cook out.

I know of at least 2 people who regularly post here and are from Knoxville. There are several in the area too. Besides the forums here I bet if you go up to the Dragon and talk to a few people you'll find a bunch of people willing to ride with you. Unless you smell bad. If you just want 250 owners, just ask them. There's a bunch of them up there. A few of them post here.

Start looking at dates & places and people will start showing an intrest. You may have to take the lead in this.

Sounds like you enjoy eating Corey Beth. So do I. In fact I tell people I am on a seafood diet; I see food and I eat it!

Alright, going to the Gap tomorrow morning and having my sister's graduation party at the lake house after noon. Cook out included. I'll be there. If you show up I'll be so impressed I won't call the cops. Seriously though, I will be up at the Dragon so let me know if anyone wants to meet up.

I haven't rode the dragon yet it's been raining all the weekends that i been off. I just want to say i did it. I'll try to take my car up there to check it out soon and so i can get the curves down. I heard that the cop are really putting the pressure on speeders up there is that true? I'm still new to dropping the knee thing. Hey tngirl do you know any where that i can get some practice with not much traffic on the rode because i hate rigs and i don't want to become a hood ornament there.

There are cops, they are nice. Basically they are there to keep people from being stupid. There are a couple of straights one can hit triple digits and you'll find the cops there. Actually I can tell you exactly where the cops are if you want. lol.

Hardin Valley is a great place to get some practice in. I like going from Hardin Valley to Watt Rd and back. I have a little loop I run all the time. Cambell Station Rd is pretty great. There simply is nothing like the Dragon. Either way, there are some pretty great roads going from Farragut to Lenoir City the back way as well. PM me sometime and we'll go for a ride.

Howdy. I'm almost down for a ride. Almost. I'm hoping the mailman will stick a petcock in my mailbox before this weekend. That in no way sounded dirty.

I saw a dark green first gen two-fiddy out running around in Hardin Valley this evening. Dangerous color this time of year with everything being all lush and green!

When are you coming out of hiding, Chris? If that is your real name. lol Plan to hit up the Gap Friday afternoon for some riding. Then possibly Saturday for some chatting with Darryl and the crew. I won't be cooking food but we can stop at a Hardees if you want. OH!!! That new Red Robin is pretty delicious, we can go there.

PS: Don't forget Thursday night is Bike Night over at Quaker Steak and Lube off of Merchants.

Welcome, Raybot. I haven't ridden up there in over a year... hell, I haven't been on my bikes but a couple times this year. I've been busy with other stuff so I took a break from riding. Both my Ninjas need a lot of work before they can be safe and reliable enough to take anywhere so I might be out for the season. I'm thinking about just fixing them up a little, selling them both, and getting something newer. I miss riding.
