Best place to order Parts?
What's the best place to order parts? Good price but good quality...easy to understand and pictures of what I'm ordering.
Had a slight argument with some loose gravel and the gravel won the argument. I think what I need is the front fairing/Cowel for both right and front side. A right turn signal casing. The light works fine. and a right foot peg assembly? The part that the foot peg attaches to snapped in half. I'm not worried about my tail pipe. Slight dents and scratches. Learned that my $10 gloves...though better than nothing, will be the first thing I upgrade next. LOL Live and learn. Any help would be appreciated. Although I'm not very techinically proficient or mechanically inclined. It appears that replacing all of these parts would be fairly easy. Thanks! |

Google "OEM Kawasaki parts."
Standard sources are CheapCycleParts.com and Bikebandit.com Look for OEM parts and follow the links. You'll find images of the official Kawasaki parts fiche, so it should be easy to get what you need. Pay no attention to any promises about when things will ship. Be prepared to wait. Frankly for most stuff you don't need new. Cowlings, yeah... because nobody sells used mint cowlings. But parts like the rearset bracket... go to ebay and find one used. People crash bikes and part them out, and many of the parts are perfectly good. I STRONGLY recommend picking up a FACTORY maintenance manual (not Haynes). If you look hard enough you can find a PDF, but even if you buy it from the dealer it's worth every penny. It will tell you how to do absolutely everything you can do to the bike, step-by-step, with pictures.

re: OEM parts
There are also other's here, such as myself who when doing modification's such as rear-set's, shaved blinker's and the like, who have these OEM parts sitting around taking up space would gladly help you out in getting your bike back out on the road for a nominal fee....sorry to hear about that pesky gravel!
Have you looked at the marketplace forum yet? |

i'll recommend partzilla too. and as others said, don't focus on the "ships 1-2 business days" comment. for the price, they've been my goto. just be prepared to wait and have delays.
my prior was bikebandit. they treat you the same but prices are greater. |

submit to insurance, get check, order parts for repairs.
Revzilla.com or sportbiketrackgear.com are good for gear and some parts. |
