American Kenny Noyes on pole position for Moto2 race at Le Mans

American expatriate Kenny Noyes scored the first World Championship pole position of his career for the Moto2 race at Le MansAmerican expatriate Kenny Noyes stormed to the first World Championship pole position of his career when he managed to hold off a swarm of 40 other riders by posting the quickest qualifying time for the Moto2 race at the French Grand Prix at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit. Noyes shot to the top of the qualifying leaderboard about halfway through the hour-long session, never to be headed despite numerous attempts by a horde of very quick riders with plenty of World Championship experience. Just how competitive is the field in the Moto2 class? A tenth of second covers the front row, but even more indicative is that the top 27 riders are covered by one second!
