 Sports/touring bikes did well in October NEW bike registrations for October 2015 were up 14.2% compared to October 2014. Year-to-date, new bike registrations are 12.4% above what they were last year. The number of bikes sold so far in 2015 is 102,229 – a figure that exceeds the total number of bikes sold during the whole of 2014 – 101,277. Sports/touring bikes are doing particularly well, with a 43% increase in new registration compared to October 2014.
