Question to DIY'ers / carb experts

Guys, I forgot to check where the tube in the picture (see below) is supposed to go to. If I remember correctly, it doesn't go anywhere but just dangles on top of the air box? Can someone confirm? Thanks.

That is the vent hose. It doesn't go anywhere. It just dangles behind the engine.

Woah thanks for the reply. I was just gonna post about the same thing.

I said to myself "hum, I don't remember taking 4 hoses off the tank"

Yeah, I have seen some crazy **** happen with the vent hose on a Buell blast. Ingersoll's bike to be exact, he had a mud wasp nest in his which made pressure build up in the engine and forced oil up the clutch cable.

Cool. Thanks guys. Now do I let this go over and on top of the filter box or is it supposed to go below the filter box?
