Dinky has moved on...

The time was coming. Little did I know it was to arrive this quickly. Dinky has been apart of my life for a decent amount of time and she has always been a great friend. Always there when I needed her and always willing to put a smile on my face when I really needed it.

My best friend is gone...gone to be someone else's best friend.

A very sweet young lady came over with her dad. They both looked at my little 250 and she apparently loved it as much as I do/did.

We agreed on $2100.

It is a sad day indeed. I will miss her very much, but I know she went to a very good home. I knew that Mandy was the right person when she strapped Dinky to the truck, she turned around and asked me, "Does the bike have a name?" I said yes and it was Dinky, just suited the little bike. She smiled really big and said, "Dinky it shall remain."

I know good and well she will like this bike and I hope it is as good to her as it was to me.

I included spare parts, carb balancing kit, stock exhaust, Joe Rocket backpack, Shoei RF1000 helmet and a tank bag.

I still have the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket and alpinestar gloves.

Cycling has taken over my life it seems. I had way too much stuff as far as hobbies went, so I decided to keep cycling and give up motorcycling for now. I just sold my telescope too. I will also be unloading a lot of recording studio gear soon.

Call it spring cleaning. I'll still be able to rent a motorcycle or whatever, but I won't own one for a while...

My wife is happy, but she knows that I'm still sad. She doesn't like motorcycles, but bicycling is ok.

Thanks. That is saying a lot especially since it was covered with pollen. hahaha

I've always stored it in the garage and took care of it. So the paint is in pretty good condition.
