Hey, love the build BTW, very minimalist yet eye catching! If you don't mind which specific Renthal handlebar did you get?

Hey by the way which renthal bar mount did you use to attach the handlebar? I see 3 which are compatible with the 250 on the website.

Did you know that your front tire is mounted in the wrong direction? Not really a big deal, just thought I'd point it out.

Great job on the bike. It is very close to what I would like to do when I get one. I love the minimalist look to it. Do you have a gauge cluster on it?

Do the Blue Collar Bobber exhaust pipes add any performance? They look great and ill probably get them anyways but I'm just wondering.

I am not to sure, it definitely makes the bike sound so much better, and I love the way it looks. That right there is good enough for me. |

Think47, you should do the Trail Tech Vapor. I just installed one on mine and it is an awesome speedometer.

Nice work!
Can you take a video of the exhaust sound? I've been looking at cheapo reverse cone slip-on's... Trumpets would be pretty close in tone, I'd think! Zach |

I have heard the sound clips before and just wonder if the sound actually fits the bike? What do you think?

Can anyone tell me where i can get fork gaiters/boots like the ones he has?!? I know this is a kind of dated thread... I have a ninja 08.
I measured the distance for the forks that i need to be covered, its about 5 inches long when parked. But im wondering if there are specific ones that people usually get for ninja 250's (cafes and streetfighters)

what did you do with coolant res? friendly suggestion, chop the seat and throw on a dirt bike rear fender, all the cool kids are doing it. trail tech is definitely the most bang for your buck. i tried using old motorcycle gauges but could never find something that worked for the tach, and matched the speedo. there was another gauge i was looking at but trail tech was A LOT cheaper
edit: didnt see how old this tread was.. and you can probably get the boot covers off ebay, 88-07 forks are 36mm diameter. Last futzed with by fuel664; April 19th, 2015 at 11:33 AM. |
