WTB Suspension after market rear shock/exhaust Pre-Gen Ninja 250ex
Hello ninjettians,
I am looking for a rear racing shock and a muzzy 2-1 exhaust . An older Fox Racing shock would be killer but any adjustable bolt on rear shock will do let me know what you got!(450-475 spring rate otherwise no biggie if it is different) If it needs a rebuild price it accordingly. Thanks for looking!

Welcome Wesley!
I see you're from SLO. Do/did you go to Cal Poly? I have a couple friends out there and I'm really jealous. Sorry, I do not have an adjustable shock that you're looking for, I just wanted to wish you welcome since it's your first post. Keep an eye on Ebay. Muzzy's pop up there often. I got mine lightly used for around $180 shipped. Not cosmetically perfect, but who cares. |

Thanks! I'm over at Poly one hell of a place. Thanks for the heads up I've been prowling ebay and craigslist stuff just goes quick. Thanks for the heads up on pricing too...by chance was that with or without a muffler?

That was with the muffler. The header alone was $120.

I'll have mine up for sale after I sell my bike. It's a works performance rear shock, fully adjustable, preload, compression and rebound with a remote reservoir. I've had it for a while and it works pretty good.
Tony

As to when I'm selling it, I've got to get enough money saved up to replace it first as it's my main transportation. The guy that's interested in it doesn't want any of my upgrades, so I thought I'll remove those and sell them separately. Thanks, Tony

used gsxr shocks can be had for around $30 on ebay. like $50 to respring it. its close to a bolt on but the reservoir is attached instead of remote. (no functional difference here, purely visual) then you can make adjustable dogbones to add adjustable height for about $25

Link to a writeup or something? This sounds like the way to go for a 250..I mean..the bike is SUPPOSED to be cheap.

Of course like for the rear shock that's not including shipping, if you want to come down and pick them that'd be fine of course. I guess if you all are interested in these parts, I could go ahead and start removing them now, clean them up, and then just put the stock parts back on and ride the bike with those instead. Marble Hill is 30 miles west of Cape Girardeau, MO on highway 34, I can of course give you more detailed instructions or even a google earth location too. Thanks, Tony
